Ukrainian steelmaker Ilyich sold hot rolled coils at $545-550/mt CFR Turkey for August and mid-September shipments. Whether the new offer at the level of $555/mt given by the producer will turn into a booking will be determined in the coming days by the supply-demand balance.

Russian steelmaker MMK is offering hot rolled coils at $615/mt CFR Turkey for September/October shipments. On the other hand, the producer is offering cold rolled coils at $675/mt CFR Turkey, also for September/October shipments. Another Russian steelmaker Severstal is offering hot rolled coils at $635/mt CFR Turkey for mid-October shipments.
