Demand for Turkish flat steel exports has remained slack over the past week, while Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to the export markets have remained stable during the given week in the range of $400-410/mt FOB, while Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) export offers are still at $520-525/mt FOB, both for July production. Turkish sellers, who have to compete with Chinese and CIS-based sellers, report that aggressive HRC offers from China and the CIS continue to negatively impact price levels in target markets.
