Demand for Turkish flat steel exports has remained slack over the past week, while Turkish hot rolled coil (
HRC) offers to the export markets have remained stable during the given week in the range of $400-410/mt FOB, while Turkish cold rolled coil (
CRC) export offers are still at $520-525/mt FOB, both for July
production. Turkish sellers, who have to compete with Chinese and CIS-based sellers, report that aggressive
HRC offers from China and the CIS continue to negatively impact price levels in target markets.
