During the given week, ferrous metal futures prices have rebounded, exerting a positive impact on market players' confidence and providing support for steel plate prices in the domestic spot market. As the National Day Holiday (October 1-7) is approaching, some downstream users have been eager to build up inventories and so transaction activity has improved. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will continue to move up slightly in the coming week, though they are expected move on a stable trend later during the National Day Holiday.
