Despite upticks in prices of other finished steel products in the local Chinese market, domestic PPGI prices have trended sideways. Traders are now more cautious as regards the prospects for the PPGI market in the coming period. Some PPGI traders said they are reluctant to push up their offer prices as they fear that buyers from the downstream industry will reject higher prices. It is thought that PPGI prices in the Chinese domestic market will maintain their stable trend in the coming week.
