In the Turkish domestic stainless steel market, while demand has remained slack, prices have been on a sideways trend for the last few weeks. Additionally, stainless steel demand is expected to weaken during the summer period in the Turkish domestic market.
SteelOrbis has heard from market insiders that in the Turkish domestic market the sales prices of Far East origin premium quality 2 mm 304/2B stainless cold rolled coil (CRC) are at $3,200-3,300/mt, while prices of Far East origin premium quality 2 mm 430/2B stainless CRC are standing at $1,800-1,900/mt. The prices are on ex-warehouse basis and exclude VAT.
