During the week ending February 5, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) quotations in the Chinese domestic market have continued their stable trend, while overall transaction activity has remained on the slack side. Average PPGI prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.

During the given week, most market players have left the market early ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday (February 8-14), contributing to the stable trend of the local PPGI market. It is expected that PPGI prices in the Chinese domestic market will continue their sideways movement during the holiday.
