Average CRC prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.
During the given week, after the previous decreases seen in CRC prices, transaction activity in the local CRC market has improved, which will likely ease the pressure from inventories after the national holiday on September 3-6. Following the holiday, steelmakers in northern China will gradually resume normal production, while the impact of this increased output is expected to be seen in late September. It is thought that CRC prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move on a stable trend in the coming week.
