Chinese flat steel export offer prices have indicated a slight rising trend for some products over the past week, namely for cold rolled coil (CRC), hot dip galvanized (HDG) and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI), while prices of other products have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $360-370/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $410-420/mt FOB.

Export prices of CRC products have followed the previous increase seen in HRC export offer prices, thereby also providing support for upticks in HDG and PPGI export offer prices.
