Prices in the local Turkish HDG market have remained unchanged since last week, while discounts are still in the range of $15–20/mt depending on tonnages. Market players state that activity in the domestic HDG market is sluggish due to the approach of next week’s Feast of Sacrifice holiday.

In the Turkish domestic market, current HDG sales prices are as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

800-820

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

750-770

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

740-750

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.

However, demand for Turkish HDG exports remains weak, while offers for November production HDG from Turkey to Iran, Israel, the CIS and Iraq are currently in the range of $800-820/mt ex-mill.
