Even though the slight improvement in domestic and export demand for Turkish pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) has satisfied market players, both local and export prices of Turkish PPGI have remained stable since last week.
Turkish mills' local offers for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI are standing at $1,010-1,050/mt, while offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $870-910/mt and prices for RAL 9002 1 mm stand at $790-820/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.
In the meantime, ex-Turkey PPGI offers are still in the range of $850-890/mt FOB, for December production.
