SteelOrbis is informed that Ukrainian mill Illych is offering
shipbuilding plates of ABS grade A at $345/mt CFR FO to
Singapore, while same material ex-Sidex is offered by Thyssen at $350/mt CFR FO. No booking is reported yet.
SteelOrbis understands that the priority of the stockists is to dispose of the high price stocks booked at higher levels of $360-370/mt first and then go for further bookings. Stockists' bids are currently at around $330/mt.
