Shaoguan Steel hikes steel plate prices

On March 15, Guangdong Province-based Chinese steel producer Shaoguan Iron and Steel Company hiked its prices of common carbon plate, low alloy and premium plate by RMB 30/mt ($4/mt). Accordingly, the producer's published price of 20 mm medium plate is now at RMB 4,320/mt ($633/mt) in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The price includes 17 percent VAT and is effective from March 15.
