During the week ending July 6, in the Chinese domestic market average cold rolled coil (CRC) prices have seen a rising trend, while transaction activity in the overall market has been at decent levels. Average cold rolled product prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.
During the given week, after previous declines in CRC prices, they have the momentum to rebound. Thus, CRC prices have gained support and also indicated an uptrend, due to the rising trend seen in HRC prices. However, the CRC market has still been in traditional offseason. It is expected that CRC prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways in the coming week.
