Prices increase in local Vietnamese HRC market

SteelOrbis has been informed that hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the Vietnamese domestic market have increased by VND 300/kg ($14/mt) as compared to last month to VND 9,700-9,800/kg ($447-451/mt) ex-warehouse, while prices of rerolling quality HRC of 2 mm thickness have increased by VND 750/kg ($35/mt) on average to VND 10,000-11,000/kg ($461-507/mt) ex-warehouse, with all prices for May delivery.
 
On the other hand, Chinese HRC offers to Vietnam have remained stable at $380-385/mt CFR, while Chinese offers for rerolling quality HRC of 2 mm thickness to the same destination have also remained unchanged over the same period, at $385-388/mt CFR, both for July shipment.
