Price of domestic HRC stable in Brazil

Brazilian HRC end-users are currently paying BRL 3,600/mt ($1,119/mt) ex-works, full taxes except IPI, for small tonnages, a distributor in Rio de Janeiro told SteelOrbis.
 
Such price, stable in BRL along September, is equivalent today to $839/mt, ex-works, no taxes included.
 
The source mentioned that sales have decreased over the last two months, adding that a decrease of the price is not ruled out.
 
Another source, from a distributor in the south of the country, mentioned that he is selling the product at BRL 3,400/mt ($1,059/mt), ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
