Positive sentiment prevails in Chinese domestic CRC market

During the week ending June 28, the Chinese domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) market has indicated an upward trend, while transaction activity in the overall market has improved and is now at medium levels. Average cold rolled product prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.

During the given week, against the backdrop of increased ferrous metal futures prices in China, traders in the domestic market have raised their offer prices for CRC, while transaction activity in the market has improved. At present, positive sentiment prevails among both steelmakers and traders. It is expected that CRC prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move up further in the coming week.
