POSCO has increased its domestic austenitic
stainless steel list prices for September orders by KRW 100,000/mt ($91/mt), following a decrease of KRW 400,000/mt ($364/mt) for August orders. Meanwhile, the mill's ferritic
stainless steel list prices have remained stable for September orders as compared to its list prices for August orders.
Accordingly,
POSCO is now offering 304 series hot rolled coil (HRC) to its domestic market at KRW 3.2 million/mt ($2,914/mt), while its local prices for 304 series cold rolled coils (CRC) are at KRW 3.47 million/mt ($3,160/mt). In the meantime, the producer's domestic prices for 430 series HRC and CRC are still standing at KRW 2.14 million/mt ($1,949/mt) and at KRW 2.52 million/mt ($2,295/mt) respectively. All prices are on ex-works basis.
