Demand in the Vietnamese flat steel market has been sluggish so far in the New Year, while local prices have remained unchanged since last week.
Hot rolled coil (
HRC) prices in the Vietnamese domestic market, meanwhile, stand at $525-535/mt ex-warehouse, while cold rolled coil (
CRC) prices are at $640-645/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, rerolling quality
HRC of 2 mm thickness is being quoted at $550-555/mt ex-warehouse.

China have moved up by $15/mt over the past week and now can be found in the range of $565-570/mt CFR.
