Finland-based steelmaker Outokumpu has announced alloy surcharges for its
stainless steel grades effective for June 2007.
According to the statement released by the company, Outokumpu will apply an alloy surcharge of Euro 3,163 per ton on its 304 series for June 2007 deliveries. The surcharge on the 304 series for May 2007 is Euro 2,907 per ton.
In addition, the alloy surcharge for June on the 316 series will be Euro 5,271 per ton, up Euro 408 from the May surcharge, while the 430 ferritic grade series will be subject to an alloy surcharge of Euro 249 per ton, up one euro from the May surcharge.
