Outokumpu announces July surcharges

Finland-based steelmaker Outokumpu has announced alloy surcharges for its stainless steel grades effective for July 2007.

According to the statement released by the company, Outokumpu will apply an alloy surcharge of Euro 3,326 per ton on its 304 series for July 2007 deliveries. The surcharge on the 304 series for June 2007 is Euro 3,163 per ton.

In addition, the alloy surcharge for July on the 316 series will be Euro 5,468 per ton, up Euro 197 from the June surcharge, while the 430 ferritic grade series will be subject to an alloy surcharge of Euro 252 per ton, up three euro from the June surcharge.
