Nucor Sheet Mill Group raises flat-rolled prices $30/nt

The Nucor Sheet Mill Group announced Tuesday that due to the continued escalation of raw material and input costs the Nucor Sheet Mill Group will increase base prices on new orders for hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized products by a minimum of $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt) effective immediately.

Nucor Sheet Mill Group reserves the right to review and re-quote any offers that are not confirmed with either a Nucor sales acknowledgement or written acceptance by both parties.

The increase marks Nucor Sheet Mill Group’s fifth increase announcement and a total of $9.00 cwt. ($198/mt or $180/nt) in increases since just after the Thanksgiving holiday.
