Nucor Sheet Mill Group, NLMK USA announce price increase on flat rolled steel products

Today, Nucor Sheet Mill Group announced they would be raising base prices on new orders by a minimum of:

Hot rolled coil-  $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt)
Cold rolled coil-  $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt)
Galvanized -  $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt)

Nucor further stated they reserve the right to review and re-quote any offers that are not confirmed with either a Nucor sales acknowledgement or written acceptance by both parties.

NLMK USA has also announced they will be raising prices for all flat rolled steel products by $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), effective immediately.
