During the week ending July 4, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) quotations in the Chinese domestic market have remained on a stable trend, while overall transaction activity has continued to be at low levels. Average PPGI prices in the local Chinese market can be viewed in the SteelOrbis price reports section.

During the given week, traders have mostly kept their offer prices stable as not so many new supplies have been arriving in the market. Since demand from downstream users has remained poor, traders still hold a wait-and-see stance towards the future prospects for the market. It is expected that PPGI prices in the Chinese domestic market will continue their stable trend in the coming week.
