Market sources state that flat steel offers given to Tunisia are for June shipments or later and fall both over the summer season and during Ramadan and so demand for these offers has not been brisk.

Ex-Europe  hot rolled coil (HRC) offers from ArcelorMittal for June deliveries to Tunisia are at €440-450/mt ($607-621/mt) CFR.

Meanwhile, ex-Egypt offers for hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil with 1.5 mm thickness to Tunisia are currently at $750/mt CFR, for deliveries in June.

Market sources say that demand in Tunisia is traditionally stronger in the first half of the year and so there is no expectation for demand to increase in the coming months for products which will be shipped in July and August.
