Local Turkish steel plate spot market trends down

During the past month, demand in the Turkish domestic steel plate spot market has remained slack and has even softened further. Besides the ongoing declines recorded in hot rolled coil (HRC) quotations since the beginning of May, transaction activity in the local Turkish steel plate market had slowed down during Ramadan and so buyers are still expecting a further decline in domestic steel plate prices and are postponing their purchases. Under these circumstances, prices in the Turkish domestic steel plate spot market have fallen month on month.
