Local Turkish CRC market still moves on downward trend

Demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) spot market has remained slack this week, since buyers continue to postpone their bookings as they believe that prices will decrease further in coming period. Turkish producers’ CRC prices have decreased by $60/mt week on week to the range of $630-650/mt ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT, for June production, while CRC prices of traders have declined by an average of $25/mt week on week. 
 
Currently, traders’ CRC prices in the local Turkish spot market are as follows:

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis, for May delivery, and exclude 18 percent VAT.
