According to market sources, Turkish hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices both in the local and in the export markets have trended sideways over the past week, while demand is still sluggish. In the meantime, market players state that demand particularly coming from the CIS region is stagnant and Turkish exporters will likely continue to adopt a wait-and-see stance under these circumstances.
In the Turkish domestic market, HDG sales prices are currently as follows:

On the other hand, ex-Turkey HDG offers are still at $750-760/mt FOB for December production.
