Latest situation in local European flat steel market

Demand in the local European flat steel market is still at medium levels, while European producers’ have maintained their price levels unchanged over the past week. 
 
European producers’ hot rolled coil (HRC) prices to their domestic market are still at €420-460/mt ($462-506/mt) ex-works, while their cold rolled coil (CRC) offers are at €500-530/mt ($550-583/mt) ex-works. Meanwhile, European mills’ hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil offers for southern Europe are at €500-530/mt ($550-583/mt) ex-works and for northern Europe are at €540-550/mt ($594-605/mt) ex-works.
