Imported HRC prices increase in Iran

Imported hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the Iranian market have increased ahead of the new Iranian year which will begin on March 21.
 
After Russian steel producers raised their flat steel product prices, sales prices of Russian origin HRC in the Iranian market have increased by Rials 500,000/mt ($41/mt).
 
Accordingly, 2 mm x 1,000 mm HRC produced by Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) is being offered at the Iranian northern port of Bandar Anzali at Rials 10.7 million/mt ($873/mt) ex-yard loaded truck, while offers for Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) production 2 mm x 1,250 mm HRC are at Rials 10.72 million/mt ($874/mt) ex-yard loaded truck at Bandar Anzali, both exclusive of four percent VAT.
