Tunisia is still at very low levels, while Tunisian buyers are waiting for Chinese suppliers' return to the market. Chinese suppliers are currently out of the market due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
Meanwhile, hot rolled coil (
HRC) offers from
Russia to
Tunisia have remained unchanged over the past month and are still at $310-315/mt CFR. Ukrainian
HRC offers to the same destination have declined by $5-10/mt in the same period to $270-280/mt CFR, while Turkish
HRC offers to
Tunisia are currently at $340/mt CFR. All prices are for March production.
On the other hand, Russian cold rolled coil (
CRC) offers to
Tunisia are in the range of $360-370/mt CFR, for late April shipment.
