HRC prices in northern Europe and Italy

According to sources, at present most hot rolled coil (HRC) transactions in northern Europe are being concluded at around €450/mt ($486/mt) ex-works, though local producers keep asking for prices up to a maximum level of €570/mt ($616/mt) ex-works.
 
Meanwhile, the few HRC transactions in the local Italian market have been concluded at prices in the range of €510-520/mt ($551-562/mt) ex-works.
