According to market sources, a Russian steelmaker is offering approximately 5,000-10,000 mt of hot rolled coil (
HRC) to the
US at $570/mt FOB. Traders indicate that, due to the favorable market conditions in the
US, the mill prefers to conclude sales to that destination rather than to
Turkey.
