SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for hot rolled coil (HRC) in the North African market has increased further during the past two weeks and is currently at medium levels. During the period in question, HRC offers from Turkey, the CIS region and EU countries to North Africa have moved down by $5/mt on the lower end and decreased by $15/mt on the upper end to the range of $325-345/mt FOB. Despite the downtrend of prices, buyers in North Africa still continue to put pressure on the prices of overseas suppliers.
