According to a Brazilian exporter, the base price for negotiations to export Galvalume from Brazil is now $830/mt, FOB conditions, having the AZ50 grade as reference.

The price compares with $850/mt two weeks ago. According to sources, the price decline is an attempt to remain competitive in the US market, the main destination for Brazilian Galvalume.

In February, Brazil exported 13,000 mt of Galvalume to the US and 3,000 mt to Argentina.
