SteelOrbis has been informed that the local price level for imported HRS in the Portuguese market is at of €410/mt ($573/mt) ex-warehouse on actual weight basis for 60-day deferred payment. Meanwhile, also in the Portuguese domestic market, a galvanized producer's base price of HDG is at the level of €450/mt ($629/mt) ex-works, indicating a €30/mt increase compared to last month.
No change has been observed in steel service centers' HRS prices in Portugal. Demand is not so active in this country.
