SteelOrbis has been informed that the local price levels for imported HRS in the Portuguese market are in a range of €460-480/mt ($609-635/mt) ex-warehouse on actual weight basis. Meanwhile, in the Portuguese domestic market base prices of HDG are at the level of €520/mt ($688/mt) ex-works. On the other hand, ex-Italy HRC offers to Portugal are at €380/mt ($503/mt) delivered to Portugal.
It cannot be said that demand is currently strong in Portugal. Although stockists' price levels have remained unchanged compared to last week, base prices of HDG in this country have this week declined to €520/mt from the last week's €600/mt.
