Flat steel demand in the Vietnamese domestic market is still weak and both domestic and import offer prices have decreased further.
In the Vietnamese domestic market, hot rolled coil (
HRC) prices are now standing at $615-620/mt ex-works, after a decrease of $15-20/mt, while cold rolled coil (
CRC) prices have declined to $740-755/mt ex-works, decreasing by $35-40/mt, both compared to late July. The above prices do not include VAT.

Vietnam, Chinese 3-12 mm
HRC offers to
Vietnam have since late July declined by about $20/mt to $560-570/mt CFR, while offers for 2 mm
HRC from South Korea and
China are at $590-595/mt CFR and $570-590/mt CFR respectively.
