Ex-Russia flat steel prices for Turkey indicate an increase

SteelOrbis has learned that a Russian steelmaker's August production hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Turkey have risen by $10-20/mt as compared to last month. In June, the producer had announced its HRC prices for Turkey at $615/mt CFR; however, as a result of negotiations with buyers, transactions were concluded at $595/mt CFR. In the current month, after a long period of stable prices the mill has increased its HRC prices to $605-610/mt CFR.
 
The producer's August production hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to the export markets now stand at the price level of $565/mt FOB St. Petersburg.
 
In the meantime, the Russian producer's August production hot rolled plate (HRP) offers from its mill 2800 to Turkey now stand at the level of $660-665/mt CFR, while its HRP offers from its mill 5000 to Turkey are at $700/mt CFR. The producer's August production cold rolled coil (CRC) offers for Turkey stand at $670/mt CFR for 0.51 mm and above and at $720/mt CFR for below 0.51 mm.
