SteelOrbis has been informed that offers given to Bulgaria by Ukrainian mill Zaporizhstal have declined as compared to its offers issued in mid-March. Accordingly, it is reported that Zaporizhstal  is ready to accept a hot rolled coil (HRC) price for the Bulgarian market at $740/mt CFR Rousse and a cold rolled coil (CRC) price at $840-850/mt CFR Rousse. In the meantime, another Ukrainian steelmaker Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich) is offering HRC to the Bulgarian market at $785-810/mt CFR.

On the other hand, SteelOrbis has further learned that HRC offers from Turkey to the Bulgarian market stand in the price range of $785-810/mt CFR.

Stockists indicate that flat steel inventories in the Bulgarian domestic market are still high, while flat steel demand lacks strength.
