Outokumpu, Aperam and Acciai Speciali Terni, leading stainless steel producers in Europe, have announced their alloy surcharges for July, decreasing their product prices compared to the previous month, except for 430 grade products. Since the beginning of this month, the cash nickel prices at the London Metal Exchange (LME) have decreased by $1,485/mt to $11,455/mt as of July 13, with the downtrend of nickel prices impacting alloy surcharge prices.
The alloy surcharges’ prices for July 2015 of the producers in question are as follows:
