Turkish integrated steel producer Erdemir announced a new price list on February 29, 2008, in which it has hiked the local prices of all its products.
According to Erdemir's new price list, the prices of plates have increased by $150/mt, galvanized product prices have risen by $100/mt, hot rolled product prices have gone up by $80/mt, while the prices of cold rolled products have been increased by $70/mt. On the other hand, the price of tin coil/sheet has increased by $20/mt. Meanwhile, certain grade extras for tin and chromium coated products have been raised by $10/mt.
The new base prices effective for local sales as of February 29, 2008, are as follows:
