Egyptian steel mill EZDK revises its HRC prices downward

Egyptian steel mill EZDK has revised down its August rolling hot rolled coil (HRC) prices both for the domestic and export markets. Accordingly, the mill's domestic offers for HRC have indicated a decrease of EGP 120/mt ($20/mt) as compared to last month and are currently standing at EGP 4,100/mt ($680/mt) ex-works. Meanwhile, EZDK's HRC offers to Saudi Arabia and Europe are now at $640-660/mt FOB base level, reflecting a drop of $20-30/mt since last month.
