Traders' August production St37 grade steel plate prices in Turkey's Gebze and Eregli regions are as follows:

The above prices are ex-warehouse and for advance payments, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
Although traders' steel plate prices have remained unchanged as compared to early this month, discounts for large volume purchases are now at about $5-10/m, down from $20-30/mt, mainly since producers have lately received some plate orders and also due to livelier hot rolled coil (HRC) demand in the Turkish domestic market this month as compared to June.
