Demand still slack in Turkey’s flat steel export markets

In the last days of August, demand in Turkey's flat steel export markets has remained on the weak side and Turkey's export prices have continued to trend sideways. Meanwhile, flat steel demand in the export markets is expected to improve slightly in September.
 
Currently, ex-Turkey offers for hot rolled coil (HRC) are still at $610-620/mt FOB, cold rolled coil (CRC) offers stand at $740-750/mt FOB, HDG offers for 0.5 mm thickness are at the level of $810-820/mt ex-works, while offers for PPGI are standing at $920-940/mt ex-works.
