This week pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) demand in the Turkish domestic market has increased slightly, while demand in the export markets has remained decent. The prices have followed a neutral trend despite the upside movement for demand. Meanwhile, steel mills believe that during Ramadan PPGI demand will slowdown but will improve again after Ramadan.

In the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices have remained unchanged at $920-940/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
