Demand in the local Turkish pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) market has improved a little, while last week's increase in Turkish producers' offers has gained acceptance in the market. Turkish mills' local offers have remained unchanged since last week. Offers for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI are standing at $1,015-1,080/mt, while offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $875-925 /mt and prices for RAL 9002 1 mm stand at $795-845/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.

In the meantime, demand for Turkish PPGI in the export markets is still weak, while buyers are still cautious due to the price increase recorded last week. June production ex-Turkey PPGI offers have remained unchanged since last week at $860-920/mt FOB.
