Taiwanese integrated steel mill China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced its domestic flats prices for October/November shipments. The new prices are at the following levels:

All the above prices exclude VAT and are on actual weight and ex-works basis.
Against the background of the ongoing upward trend observed in the local and global markets, CSC has decided to raise its prices by about 8.61 percent on average for October/November shipment. Thus, compared to the ex-works prices for September shipments, the HRC domestic price has been raised by NTD 1,670/mt ($55/mt), the CRC price has increased by NTD 1,995/mt ($48/mt), HRP is up by NTD 950/mt ($46/mt), electrical steel (ES) prices have risen by NTD 3,600/mt ($87/mt), while the price of CGI has increased by NTD 2,320/mt ($97/mt) and EGC prices are up by NTD 2,000/mt ($77/mt).
