CRC import price offers stable in Brazil

CRC imports in Brazil remain negotiated in average at $880/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, according to sources.

In July, Brazil exported 7,500 mt of CRC, in average at $1,080/mt, while importing 30,700 mt at $775/mt, both FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,520/mt ($1,315/mt), against BRL 6,530/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.

In the Brazilian domestic market, the premium in relation to the price of a similar imported product, after clearing customs, is now around 25 percent, against 30 percent two weeks ago, according to sources.
