SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of JIS G3141 SPCC cold rolled coils (CRC) of 0.3-1.5 mm thickness are still standing at NTD 20,000-21,500/mt ($667-717/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis.
Meanwhile, the prices of JIS G3131 SPHC 2.0-4.5 mm hot rolled coils (HRC) are at NTD 18,000-19,000/mt ($601-634/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis, indicating a decline of NTD 500/mt ($17/mt) since last week.
Both price ranges include five percent VAT and are for early September shipments.
