Activity is China's PPGI market is on the slack side, while traders are maintaining a wait-and-see stance. Meanwhile, local PPGI prices have received support from the increase in stability of other flat steel product prices in China. In the domestic PPGI market, the mainstream mills cut their quotations just slightly for June production, while most private steel enterprises announced somewhat bigger decreases. Moreover, China's April exports of PPGI decreased both month on month and year on year.
It is expected that the Chinese PPGI market will continue to trend sideways in the coming week.
